Welcome to the website of the Mississippi Writing Center Association!
Our organization promotes the study of composition, rhetoric, and multiliteracy within academic and non-academic communities in Mississippi by offering opportunities for faculty engagement, tutor training, and collaboration.
Our members include tutors, administrators, writing center professionals, and others interested in writing centers from public and private secondary schools community colleges, and colleges/universities. As a community, we seek opportunities for collaboration within MS and the region, and we hope to use our collective influence to advocate for writing, writing centers, and education throughout the state of Mississippi, impacting the lives of Mississippians through the efforts of our affiliated members.
